Fantastic Sams Worst Hair Experience, Ever! Brainerd, Minnesota

On Friday March 22 I went one of my local Fantastic Sams in Brainerd Minnesota. I got my hair highlighted, colored (peek a boo), cut, and I also received a protein treatment and got my eyebrows waxed. Total I spent about $106. My stylists name was Ashley. After my hair was done she blow dried most of the moisture out and I went on my way. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that my hair had been totally botched. The peek a boo had been dyed completely the wrong color. My hair cut was terrible in more ways than one. She cut about 2 inches shorter than I asked her to. My stylist tried to do something with the layers and completely screwed it up. They were choppy, uneven, and very sloppy. I later noticed that the peek a boo hadn't even been completely dyed! There was pieces around my whole head that were speckled with blonde because she hadn't applied the color to all of it. I went back to the salon on Wednesday March 27 to express my dissatisfaction. I was disgusted when I learned that they refused to give me a refund. All they offered was to fix it for me. Why should I left the person/salon that screwed up my hair to begin with touch it again? I'm very upset with now not only the outcome of my hair but also how the salon handled the whole situation. I paid over $100 for a service that I was nowhere near satisfied with. I don't understand why I can't even have a portion of what I paid refunded to me. Now I have to go out and pay even more money to have it fixed. From a customers point of view, it is very unprofessional and dissatisfying to be told we can either fix it (which, as I explained before, is not what you want when they messed up your hair to begin with) or do nothing. Why is this "no refund policy" in place? I can honestly say that I will probably never go to Fantastic Sams again.
