A FARMERS insured rear-ended my wife & kids while they were stopped at a stop light. My family was enroute to grocery shop while FARMERS insured was out to party. He profusely apologized stating he thought his foot was on the brake. My family subsequently received conservative treatment totaling about $3,000. We were willing to settle for only $5,000.

FARMERS, according to a Nationally televised Investigative Report on CNN (Oct. 3rd, 2007), has been advised by hired Consultants that 80% of Americans will take any low ball offer made without a fight. The rest should be FORCED to court without any negotiating or arbitrating. That is what happened to my wife and children. FARMERS hired Benjamin Samuelson (IL) atty. who twisted and contorted the truth before a "judge" who is currently "under criminal investigation." - see Quad-City TIMES, Feb. 7, 2008 sec. B headliner. "They Know Not What They Do." As they intentional inflict emotional distress and add insult to injury. The Iowa Insurance Commission was notified, however, lacks any objectivity to make it right.

ps: My wife hired David Mahl, atty. who lied when he claimed he "Never lost a case" and lied when he wrote "please feel free to contact us at any time with any questions." We asked him to show us the Iowa Supreme Court Law that would require us to comply with his unethical attempt to obtain a Carte Blanch authorization for the release of personal, confidential, private, protected medical information for opposing counsel. Instead he filed a Motion to Withdraw, which was granted without any consideration to our counter Motion to Compel this "lawyer" to perform according to his contractual obligations. Scott County operates with "Drive By" judicial "decisions"???
