First Consumers National Bank ripoff Oregon USA

First Consumers National Bank account closed and bill paid off but they kept billing for more money anyway Beaverton Oregon .....

I did not know about FCNB's scams until I tried to log on to their website to pay the bill and found out I could not only not log on but that the site was unaccessable.

Several months ago I paid them in full for the amount I owed them and the account was closed. Then I started getting bills for more money, saying that I still owed them when I knew I had actually overpaid in case it didn't reach them by the due date. I didn't want to be charged another overdraft and late fee so I paid an extra $35 to cover it and was planning to have them refund the overpayment.

I thought maybe the bill for more money had been an oversight and was going to pay it just to get it out of my way. I wasn't worried about my credit. My credit was bad to start with. It just bothered me that they thought I still owed them when I was sure it was impossible. So I waited for another bill, thinking they would have had more time to update their records and see that I didn't owe them, that in fact they owed me. When the new invoice came I was stunned to see not only did they bill me for more money again, but they added on finance charges and late fees.

I was surprised to see I'm not the only one they did this too, but still enraged that they did this to people. It's unreal how a company thinks they can get away with doing things like this to their customers. I have a small part-time business and I know I could never do that sort of thing to my customers, no matter what.
