first american home buyers protection corp. CMS Garage Door's INC.(925) 864-3033 The Garage door cables & spring broke. There was no why to open the door with or with out the dore opener . our auto,s traped in there. at 4:30 pm. I called first American Proction for some one to come out to repair or fix. I had a hard time explaining what the problem was to there agent. they had no understanding of what the component of this item. I repeat specifically what was wrong & the need to have it repaired with in 24 hr. .there only option was for me to wait for two (2) days . The Contractor they had contact us( C.M.S Garage Door,s INC.) contact us and told use that we need to call the insurance agent to have them contact some other company. Plus that the Items that need replacement was not under the home warranty. Van Nuys California

We then recalled and asked them a bout that . The agent then said that we need to have the repair company come out to verify the repaire or parts to replace and it would cost $65.00 to have some one come out. I asked did they know what i just explain to them. They said yes I then asked them what item,s is covered they said " just the gareage door oppener motor". I then asked due to there lack of the english definition of terms used and they putting me on hold many time,s I asked what country they was located . They said "Argentina". Capital Buenos Aires!!!! March 10,2016 at est time; 4:20 pm there was a loud banding sound comeing from the garage . found the garage door spring and lines and out of order. I examine the condiction of the door and called the home warranty (1st american home buyers protection we pay $65.00 monthly and been doing so for 3 year,s.( the reason we deal with them was they was local and responed to our needs in the pass in a very timely maner 

the claim adjusters  all was appraise and analyze the problem correctly.

Then this time it was a stressfull and one big joke that could have cost $65.00 to have a contractor come out just to till me they warranty did not cover the work needed & the parts. I reviewed the information on the company they assigned .They are not listed on line with any better business Bureau  or  List of contractors in the area with in 25 miles.(www.bbb.org) . ----- March 11,2016  est. 9:00 am----

I went on line contact 3 companies that returned my call for help with in 3 hour,s my garage door was repaired for less then what would have been  In time and cost. !st home buyers protection est. time of service 48hours-- there contractors est. cost $65.00 on arrival for warranty plain. parts not covered for repaie $165.00 springs / brace $65.00x2.   I paid a local company $198.00 total and very happy
