First American Payment Systems Deception, pressure tactics, fraud Fort Worth Texas

I was contacted by a salesperson about a credit card processing service.  I specifically told her that I never have taken credit card payments but might some day.  Therefore, I would not be interested in the service if there were any fees whatsoever except transaction fees.  Days after receiving the hardware my account was debited two ten dollar charges.  I called to complain and was told the charges would continue in perpituity and to cancel would generate a five hundred fee.  I stopped payment at the bank and now they have begun collection efforts for about $600.  I have repeatedly told them I have no intention of paying.  They threaten to bring suit in Ft Worth.  Has anyone actually made it to court with these guys or are they not so likely to go anywhere near a court room?  I am beginning to prepare my counter suit based on deception and fraud.
