First Equity Card raised my limit, then did not honor check, lowered my limit without notice Columbus Georgia

First Equity Card sent me a letter congratulating me on the increase to my credit line. They included a check which I used to make a deposit into my bank account. I used these funds to pay bills for my business.

Much later, I noticed that my bank account was not where it was supposed to be. I investigated and found out that the check from First Equity had not been honored. I called them to find out why and they told me that my line had been decreased.

I had never been notified of this and they told me that it was my responsibility.

I told them that I had called and verified the balance available on the day I had deposited the check.

Basically, they told me to bug off and write a letter to complain but would not do anything about the bounced check. SO now I am short in my bank account and they are not taking any responsibility.
