*Consumer Suggestion: Balance
In 1999 I was attempting to repair my credit from a divorce and made the mistake of applying to fnbm. I sent them a $400 deposit to get a secured credit card. For the next 4 years I paid on time and usually paid the balance in full. In 2003 I got laid off I got 2 months behind on a payment they closed the account and refused to refund my $400.

If you haven't done so already, send them a letter detailing the situation including the fact that your account was a secured account and you had paid the account off; however, due to no circumstances beyond your control you lost your job. Understanding the fact that you were two months behind on the bill, you in good faith, paid them the remaining monies due. Remind them strongly that you are owed the deposit money you gave them securing the account. Send it via certified mail and regular mail Credit One Bank
P.O. Box 98873, Las Vegas, NV 89193-8873.
Let me know if this helps any. Good luck.
