Fleetmatics Web Manager unincourgable, un helpful Internet, Illinois

Fleetmatics is a boiler room with the goal of going public. This company does not invest in it's representatives and the training is laughable. I have also been with this company for a few years now and since my date of hire over 23 people have come and gone and mostly by their own decision. Just think how bad it must be for people that would rather be unemployed or working chasing shopping carts than work for Fleetmatics.

          I have worked for Fleetmatics for several years and the company is a joke.  John Goggin is the most rude, crude and obnoxious person I have ever seen running a company. At a company wide meeting in Chicago, he was so drunk that he pissed his pants at the bar and just kept right on drinking. He and his Irish buddies are a bunch of classless jerks that could not sell to save their lives but increase our quotas on almost a monthly basis despite the downturn in sales. They treat everyone with contempt, woman like pieces of meat, and refer to us as lazy Americans.  I am not the only person to get a drunken call from Ireland in the middle of the night from John. You are in threat of losing your job on a daily basis and they work you like slaves and treat you as such.

         I have worked at 3 different locations for FM and can tell you that the Chicago Telesales Dept. is by far the most poorly run department and the TS employees have the most stressful job in the entire company. Perform out of the gate or you are gone. I have heard , in person and over the phone, some of the TS employees being berated and treated like second class citizens.  Middle management faces the same thing on a daily basis and the turnover is extremely high because it all starts at the top with the "Bald Headed Stooge'', John Goggin, as he is referred to in the states.

       The major issue now is $.  They shot themselves in the foot when they decided it was a good idea to sell all of the leasing to other banks even when they had enough cash flow to finance themselves. My guess is that we will be out of business shortly as the money dries up and lay offs keep happening at all of our offices. Great product, great employees but misguided and poorly managed.

       I am only still there because of the money and I am used to the crap on a daily basis but as soon as I get the chance, I am jumping ship.
