Free Credit Report .com This is NOT a free service - You will be charged! Internet

I was suckered in by their commercials which advertise a free credit report, its also in the name.   On their website they advertise that they need to charge you $1 which they say they will donate.  I figured for a buck I would sign up.  What they dont tell you, or at least make easily known, is that you are signing up for a $14.95 monthly service.

This is buried in their terms of service.  You have 7 days to cancel or they will bill you.  Once they bill you they will NOT give you a refund and even the credit card company will not do a chargeback since they say it is in their terms of service. 

So my advice here is avoid freecreditreport.com and find other alternatives that truly do offer a free credit report. Or else just make sure you cancel prior to 7 days and make sure you get the persons employee ID and you get a confirmation number.  I failed to do this and got billed for a second month!
