GOD is good.

I have forward this issue to the Attorney General's office. I also faxed over a Notice of Claim with the right to file a lawsuit to cover myself under statutory laws in which I apply for government corruptions.

Also, I was told that my policy was $111.19 and I was told that the payment on this amount would be about $25.00 in which I have paid. Please tell me what is the amount I owe to pay for the policy for ONLY my car with my name on it without any other people illegally added without my permission.

Thanks

(Please pray: Father, GOD in the name of JESUS, I repent for my sins. I believe that JESUS died and rose again for me. Please fill me with the gift of the HOLY GHOST, with the sign of speaking in new tongues so that I may live sin free. I surrender my life to you so that when I die, I will not go to hell, but to heaven. I receive JESUS by faith in JESUS name. Amen.)

I am an attorney pro se. You cannot LEGALLY hold my daughter on my policy and charge me money without my approval. I don't have to prove to you that she is living elsewhere because the LAW requires my CAR to be insured and it is. You are extorting money from me in order to make additonal money from your policy. Progresso insurance does it the legal way. They insure the car and then anyone else, that you allow to drive it including ANYONE inside of your home, is insured.

Legally, you cannot do this. You are going to get sued under class action.
I will not sign a waiver waiving my legal rights for anyone, including my daughter, to be covered. It is obvious, if you are coercing me to sign under duress, that my daughter is covered. The practice is very illegal and your company is attempting to take advantage of a law which demands pip and pd or basic coverage for my car. The car is insured, but not the people. I have already made my payment and I am willing to fight your illegal extortion, fraud and price gouging in court of law. Please google my name and you will see that I filed lawsuits against this type of illegal practices. I know that this is your INHOUSE policy, but it is illegal. You are not going to intimidate me into volutarily abandoning my legal rights to have my car covered for an accident irregardless of who is behind the wheel. The practice of adding someone on my policy and then price gouging to about 5 times of what the policy is worth is highly illegal and it will stop.

This is an official notice that you are to remove anyone else off of my policy in which I did not give permission.
I am the ONLY one whose name the car is registered in and the car has insurance coverage and if anyone else drives my car, including my daughter, he or she is covered. The law demands ONLY pip and pd coverage for my car. The car, not the people are the ones covered.
This is also an official notice that I did not approve anyone else to be included on my policy.
As a result, my car insurance permiums are paid.

I got it.

Looks like Geico found out that the OP has a daughter, who lives at the residence and uses the car.  The OP thinks that by claiming to be an attorney pro se and making up laws, that he can get around the extra premium being charged for the daughter.

Ahh, if only that were so.  Parents around the country would be rejoicing at all of the money they  were saving by not having to pay the higher premiums for the kid drivers.

I'm guessing that they didn't teach contract law at the pro se law school.

Never thought I'd defend an Ins. co.

AUTHOR: Pete M - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, May 06, 2011

I am writing this because I have seen this complaint about auto ins. companies dozens, if not hundreds of times before.  This is because I used to be an independent auto insurance broker.  I never sold Geico's policies. I believe they have their own agents. However the terms of coverage and types of coverage are standardized and apply throughout any particular state and do not vary much, if at all, between the states. Only the premiums and legal minimum requirements vary significantly.

Unfortunately, what seems like a ripoff in this case is not.  An auto ins. company has a legal right to include on a policy, sometimes at an additional charge, any licensed relatives resident in your household.  In fact, until relatively recently, it was mandatory that they do so and they were explicitly prohibited by law from excluding them.  Any family with teenage drivers can attest to this as they watch their premiums increase when their children obtain driver licenses.  It does no good to promise that little Suzie or Johnny will never drive Dad's car.  The law requires that the ins. company cover any driver to whom you give permission to drive your car, resident or not.  The assumption is that, sooner or later, Suzie or Johnny will indeed drive Dad's car and if they get in an accident, the law will require that they be covered.

There is such a thing as excluding named drivers.  The original complaint mentions Progressive Insurance Company.  Somehow, back in the 80's, Progressive was able to carve out a niche for themselves and find a way to allow a policyholder to exclude by name a resident relative driver in their household.  I never figured out how they did it, or if they were simply taking a risk that if worse came to worse, they wouldn't be successfully sued by the policyholder for failure to cover said excluded driver.  The upshot is that Progressive is probably the only company in the nation that will allow you to explicitly exclude from your policy a licensed resident relative.

As much as I sympathize with him, the complaintant has no legal grounds for his complaint.  In this case, Geico is well within their legal rights to rate his policy according to the highest rated driver in his household, in this case his daughter.  The good news is that he apparently doesn't also have a son of driving age.  That would cause an even larger premium increase.   If, and when, his daughter gets her own car and insurance or some years of driving experience he will see a substantial decrease in premium and/or she can be dropped from his policy entirely.

I'm afraid that this complaintant will be wasting his, and the courts time with this issue.  I suggest he read the relevant statutes in his state.  Perhaps Geico will point him to them, as well as relevant case law, and save him some hours of legal research.  I'm sure this is not the first time they, or any other auto ins. company, has had to field this sort of complaint.
