I inform Geico of the theft and they said they would take care of the car ,they had the car towed to my mechanics shop and they to have a $196.00 to inspect the car that's it.so the sat there for 14 days until they got tried of me call them to have the repairs done or have the car removed.I spoke to Jen Remigio my claim Examiner and she told me she was waiting for the reports to come back on the car .after about 30 days the games began,I would call her and she would tell me she did not have a answer and that she will get back to me that never happen.so she sent me letters to cover herself stating we doing on the car and that they can not make a determinating yet about the claim.so I ask to have the car back so I can get the repairs done myself ,so I ask the they return the car  to me and the refused until I contacted my attorney. they sent the car to a location that was not my address and left the car there unsecured with no key to start up the car or to be able to move the car from one place to the other.,also Geico removed the ignition to the car and did not sent the  key to operate the car. they said they need to do more testing on the transmission.they claim to have to have the car for 6 months just to do fluid test on the trans

so I file a claim with the State Of Ca.Insurance Commission and they told me they will reveiw my claim and try to help. so then I filed a small claim and went to court now I am waiting for the judges to make a decion on the case.

Ignition forensics/bad faith

AUTHOR: auto theft expert - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, February 01, 2013

We are the only firm in the world that dare take cases like this. We sometimes serve as forensic experts on the ignition rebutting the insurance "experts." Sometimes we are the lead consultant to plaintiff attorneys in bad faith claims like this. Attorneys unfortunately may understand the law, but we understand the complete investigation procedure. The so called "forensic" experts and their con. We are experts at debunking what they have to say in this con of forensic locksmithing. In fact, we are very dangerous to insurance auto theft claims. Often accused by the SIU's of giving too much inside information about the claims process at www.utotheftexpert.com.

We also represent clients in court under a power of attorney.
