Global Vantage Ripoff Fraudulent billing illegal collection tactics transferring consumer information to third world country Lakspur California

I received several computer generated phone calls form this company and finally called them back. The call was answered by a Global Vantedge recording (note the odd spelling) and then transferred to India where a Steven Jones (obviously not a real name) told me I owed some amount to AT & T.

I told him I had never had an account with AT & T and he recited my Social Security Number. Now that is strange. No telling how many third world criminals have access to all these social security numbers.

The conversation got rather testy at that point and I hung up on the guy. I have had some calls after this conversation but they seem to have stopped.

I looked up Global Vantedge at the California Secretary of State's Office and found their agent for service.

Suggest filing a complaint with the CA Attorney General, Social Security and maybe Homeland Security. After all no telling who they furnishing with information on American Citizens.
