Gold's Gym TRYING TO CHARGE ME MY WHOLE BILL AND I ONLY USED MEMBERSHIP FOR 2 MONTHS Saint George Utah

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR GOLD'S GYM. This is what they do.

1) They have some very persuasive sales reps who deny telling you the fact that you could have a JUDGEMENT Put against you.

2) If you do not have the money to pay the bill they don't care, why would they, they are making money anyways.

I phoned them to tell them that I didn't currently have the money to pay the bill, could I make payments. They told me I was not allowed to make payments, I had to pay the entire bill up front. At the time it was about 200 dollars, which is fine.

All of a sudden I get a letter in the mail telling me, from a lawyer that I have to pay about 1400 dollars, the cost of the entire membership. They DO NOT tell you that when you sign up.

There is no number WHATSOEVER to contact or address for the corporate office. Once you call them you get hung up on and they don't ever call you back.

They send you to collections even if you tell them you are going to pay it and work with them on it.

Then a lawyer gets involved and guess what? You are told you have to pay the whole membership up front.

Sure the gym is nice, but is it worth it? I don't think so.

DO NOT EVER SIGN UP FOR GOLD'S GYM.

If you lose your job and tell them that they don't care. So basically the only thing to do is to file for bankruptcy, and who seriously can do that?

YOU DO NOT need this mark against your credit score.

Instead of taking responsibility for the fact that you cannot get ahold of them they blame it on you.

Good luck cancelling your membership or ever getting them out of your hair. They are financial VULTURES and will do anything to get your money. Even be as greedy and persuasive as possible.
