I was a member of Gold's Gym in Tulsa, OK for about 6 months when I lost my job and had to cancel when I relocated back to Georgia.  I went to the Membership Manager, Rick Doyle, and hand wrote a cancellation note.  


About a year later (I'm not very good with my bank account) much to my dismay, I discovered using my online account that they in fact continued to charge my account for the entire year!  When I raised my concern to the general manager Martin Miles (the Membership Manager I cancelled with was no longer there), he basically said there is nothing he could do so I was on my own (even though he could plainly see that I had not entered they gym in a year!).

I emailed Gold's Gym multiple times and they ignored every message.

Join Lifetime Fitness, where I am a member now.  Much better service, a better staff, many more services and much better customer service!!

Fitness Evolution Gold's gym and Fit U have not gone for a year they have been taking money out of my account . This is a no contract gym. They make it real hard to quit.
