My Husband and I purchased a timeshare from grand crowne in Branson Missouri in 12/4/12 for a 2br resort in pigeon forge, tenn. Suppose to been a 1hr and 30 min session turned in to 4-5 hr session after being pressured from 4-5 people we purchased this timeshare. put a down payment and them drafting a payment for 17 mth so far. You can never book a vacation with your points or gaetaways always full. Can never talk to any one they keep giving you the runaround or numbers after numbers I have paid a total of over 5000 so far which includes a maintrance fee for what that I can never use. I'm giving notice that I want to cancel this timeshare and a full refund that I have paid into. this is a ripoff and these people need to be reported.

Timeshare Companies are a SCAM
AUTHOR: VickyF - ()

Most timeshare companies are taking advantage of people, often those who are more vulnerable and less able to resist hard sales tactics. I have heard of many cases where maintenance costs rise well above inflation. It would appear the timeshare companies lock people into contracts and then drive up their profits though increased maintenance charges. It would be good to see legislation whereby timeshare companies can only charge "reasonable" maintenance costs and not use this annual fee to fleece people's bank accounts
