Greendot Corp Walmart Corp Fraud, violated my state, federal and disability civil rights by diverting my disability payments to their prepaid debit card that I never asked for or authorized them to issue Monrovia, California

I went into a Walmart located in Tucker, Ga and filled out a CashPak Card application to put some money on my son's prepaid Visa debit card. Unbeknowst to me they took the liberty to automaticaly apply me for a Walmart MoneyCard which I never asked for or approved of.

They then somehow obtained information that I was a Social Security Disability recipient and had social security divert my disability payments to their prepaid debit card that I neither asked for or approved them of issuing.

I received the card in the mail and almost threw it away as we all get unsolicited credit cards via the mail everyday. Then when I later went to Walmart to buy groceries, my own banking institution debit card would not work due to NSF. I always kept a $2500 buffer in that account to prevent me ever overdrawing my account.  I called my usual banking institution and found out my disability payments had not been received for the months of Sept, Oct and Nov. I promptly went in to a Social Security office to find out where the payments had gone and that's when they told me they went to this prepaid debit card. I never activated the card and in fact. called Greendot to inform them that I did not agree to their credit card agreement that calls for arbitration to solve any and all problems arising from a dispute. Therefore I am not bound by their credit card agreement as I have never used the card.

They first told me I needed to file a police report which I did at the neighborhood Walmart where I am living in Mobile, AL off and on with my husband so he can help care for his disabled mother and sister.  When I filed the police report it was with the Mobile Police guards that worked for Walmart who then put "suspicious behavior" in the line for the charges which I did ask them to do. I wanted them to put down, "committed fraud and violated many state, federal and my disability civil rights" by taking my benefits.

The act by Greendot Corp has ruined by credit reputation, destroyed my good credit that has taken a lifetime to build. They violated my rights, committed fraud by acting like they had obtained my permission to change my direct deposit from my usual banking institution to their debit card.  They instantly "blocked" the funds on that card when I didnt agree to the conditions and terms. Then they tried to say that Walmart is getting a contract with Social Security to issue Walmart Gift cards to all individuals who receive their benefits by check which doesn't apply to me because I have always gotten by benefits by direct deposit.  

First they said send the police report along with your ID and social security card to us. Then they said they received millions of documents everyday by fax (I had faxed the report from the Mobile Police dept from their fax) and they said it would take 24-48 hrs to match up my docs with my account, etc, etc., so I waited and waited and called back and they said they had the docs but it would take 10 dys for them to conduct their own investigation before they could give back the funds.  I called back 10 dys later and they had the audacity to say "we've never received your police report and id like we told you to send" at which I just about lost it.  So I called back and said "council has advised me that you have violated state and federal laws which protect my rights under disability" and that I wanted them to give me the name of their registered agent and street address because I was going to file a law suit. Their call center employees told me I could not have that information I could only fax the police report and ID to the corporate office fax line which was a bogus fax number that never answered. 

So then I went online and discovered Greendot's corporated address, phone number from the internet and called their corporate offices.  They then said all they could do was return the monies by electronic transfer "that we dont really have the money it was send electronically and we cant give you the money back it has to be sent back to Social Security and then they will have to re-issue the monies to you" which they said they would do within 3-5 days.  Well they didnt for 10 days but finally Social Security said it will take 10 days for our distribution center to re-issue the monies back to your normal banking institution.  

I am still waiting to recieve the $2828 back from Social Security for the three months of disability payments of $942 each for the months of Sep, Oct and Nov of 2011.  Todays date is January 19, 2012 and I still have to wait another 10 days.

In the meantime, all of this has destroyed my credit reputation with Bank of America, I had no money to put gas or buy groceries all thru Christmas and New Years.  I receivd my disability on time for December but I have so much back paying of my bills that that one payment didnt cover everything I owe for those three months by a long shot.  

Please refer me to an attorney that might be interested in filing a law suit on my behalf against Greendot and all her affiliates as well as Walmart for acting as the means to commit the fraud against my rights. This attorney might be interested to know that a lot of people have been ripped off in this way and that Greendot's employee's literally follow a script in how they rip people off.  They hope that you will become so frustrated and put out by all the crap you have to go through to get your money back that you will just give up and let them have it.  I will never give up on getting my money and my reputation restrored.

I later discovered Online many many people who have been ripped off in the similar manner. This attorney might like to call Social Security and file a class action law suit on behalf of all the Social Security rip offs they have succeded in doing. In fact, when I spoke to an agent at Social Security the first time I called in she said that she talked to many people everyday that have this same problem with Greendot Corp and that it happens all the time.  When I asked Social Security to join me in a class action law suit personally the lady at that call center said she was not authorized by SSA to give me all the other names of the people that Greendot has ripped off their Social Security benefits.  Something needs to be done on a large scale to teach these con artists a lesson and to punish Greendot, hopefully put them out of business and punish Walmart as well for enabling Greendot to gather this information on unsuspecting elderly or disabled people, our most vulnerable here in the US so that they can steal from them. It is unconscionable, unethical as a business practice and a violation of many of my rights.  I would love to see a multimillion dollar law suit filed on my behalf with an 800 number ad publshed on TV that "if you have been victimized by Walmart and her affiliate company Greendot Corp please call this 1-800 number so that you can too join in the class action law suit".  That would make them sit up and pay attention and learn their lesson to the tune of millions of dollars in punitive damages to me and all the others.  Please contact me ASAP about the filing of this lawsuit.  

I was told by a lawyer in Georgia that a lawyer licensed in California would have to take the suit because that is where their corporate office is located but the offense occurred in Tucker, Ga. so I am not sure. But it would have to be a law firm with multiple state licenseing to officiate and pursue the law suit to the end.  I would be willing to work on a Personal Injury law suit agreement. I may actually obtain the bulk of my money back but my credit reputation is ruined and will take years to rebuild after the damage they have inflicted to me.

Thank you for you kind consideration of my case and I look forward to working with you to put these horrible people out of business so that possible criminal charges can be brought against its President, CEO and its registered agent for conducting its business in such a criminal manner.  I would think the FBI and other government agencies might assist an attorney in gathering information or possibly assist with the case.  Please let me know who you could refer my case to immeidately.  The quicker we file suit, the quicker I can get my life restored to what it was before this happened.  Beware this could happen to you too.  Dont ever fill out a CashPak card at Walmart. You entire savings could be wiped out like mine was.
