Harbor Lending Group sucked in another sucker Atlanta Georgia

I also took the Harbor Lending Group scam bait - hook, line and sinker. They are great talkers with alot of promises. Even though I was very skeptical from the beginning they seemed to have a 'logical' answer for everything so I foolishly sent them the $885 insurance payment (being the equivalent of my first 4 months payments) to them with the assurance that the funds of my loan would be deposited into my account within 24 hours. My story is the same - the next day I had a call from David Parker stating that after final insurance auditing of my application, the lender required another 4 month payment upfront and again assured me that once that money was received the funds would be deposited into my account. I refused to send more money and demanded my initial payment back. He said that he would process the cancellation of my loan request and that my money would be refunded and deposited into my account on June 16th. I told him I couldn't wait that long - that I had spent my rent money to secure my loan. He apologized and simply said that it was policy and 'assured' me that my refund would be deposited on June 16th. I really can't believe that I fell for such a blatant scam - but they prey on desperate people. I have certainly learned my lesson and I hope these people are happy stealing money from people that need it the most!
