I too was contacted by this "company". I was told that I was approved for a loan with an extremely low interest rate. Alice told me that in order to get the loan I would have to come up with a "security" deposit equal to 7 months of payments, because this was considered a secured loan. After I did that I would receive my loan, and wouldn't have payments for 7 months. Sounded great, but there were red flags, not to mention my gut instinct telling me something wasn't right.

They didn't do any employment checks, credit checks or even ask for bank statements. When asked if this was a legit offer I was told that the paperwork they would fax to had all the "legal jargon" to prove it was legit. Com'on now what professional lender would use the words "legal jargon" in reference to loan paperwork? I was told that they were in business for 14yrs and was directed to the website they had, (which is now a site for male enhancement). According to Alice the website would give me info about the company and how long they had been in business. I found it interesting that the site had been started in May 2008. I couldn't find any information about the company, no phone numbers for contact and when I emailed them I didn't get a reply. Alice also told me that the BBB had no complains of file either...

I decided to go with my gut instinct and told Alice that I was not going to send any money for a loan and that I would find another lender. She asked me why, I said that there were too many red flags and that I didn't feel comfortable sending money in exchange for a loan. She then said well that's fine but remember there aren't any lenders out there that will finance me with an unsecured loan. That all lenders will require a small deposit in return for financing.

I never sent in any money, and from what I'm seeing now I'm glad that I didn't. I would've been out a couple hundred and SOL.
