A "regular" physical?

Depending on whether one goes to a General Practice/Family Doctor or a Specialist and what they consider to be included in a "regular" physical, the cost of such a visit can vary from a few hundred dollars to close to one thousand dollars depending on which diagnostic tests are performed. A co-pay may be for nothing more than waving hello to you. If a $500 bill was re-priced to $300, for example, the savings of 40% would be good. The fact that there were two doctor visits raises questions of what services were actually provided here and what their cost was before re-pricing. Were they to the same doctor and did the staff properly re-price the bills according to their contract(s)?

There are no medical services that are not discounted in network. Owing over $300 in medical bills is possible even with major medical plans as co-pays do not cover everything with any plan. Without the specifics it is not possible to have the patient advocacy department address the issue.
