Did a little research on this company. I hope your company gets shut down. Why in the world our government allows these kinds of jerks to operate is beyond me. In response to stu - deerfield beach (United States of America)

...although this question is presented from an "owner" it is not.
Health Option One is licensed in 33 states as a limited medical benefit plan. It is particularly suited to those who either can't qualify medically for major medical insurance or can't afford it.
You my friend make no sense. Limited medical benefit plan. Basically the company is a ripoff from start to finish. You all make me sick. But you can't bite the underhanded , lying, false advertising company that pays your bills now can you? I hope someone will wake up and shut down all of these companies that do nothing but take money.
(((ROR redacted)))
These are just a few complaints against this scam company. Now why in the world would someone pay 600+ then 199 a month other than getting real health care? I hope this along with other companies will be investigated . Lets blow some more smoke up someones behind. This company takes advantage and its pretty straight forward how they lie.

#1 UPDATE Employee
Client was clearly told this was NOT insurance

All clients are forwarded by their agent to a verifier who records (with their knowledge and approval) answers to a specific list of questions regarding their understanding of the plan. One of the first questions is whether or not they understand and agree that the plan is NOT major medical health insurance but rather a limited benefit plan. Unless the client states their understanding and agreement the verifier does not continue processing the application. Any refusal to pay claims was likely due to a pre-existing condition diagnosed or treated in the 12 months immediately preceding the effective date. This waiting period was also clearly stated, and its understanding and agreement asked for, in the recorded verification.
