Do not use this processing company.  We signed up for Heartland credit card processing with Mike Stevenson in Westlake, California in May 2012 signing a month to month contract with no early cancellation fee.  Now a year later we have canceled our CC processing with them but Heartland refuses to cancel our services, and they keep drafting service fees out of our bank account.  Now they have taken 2 months of service fees from us even though they can see we have no longer been using them to process.  

In addition, they inform us that they will charge us a cancellation fee of $295!!    Heartland processing company is a very unscrupulous, unethical, immoral, deceitful, unprincipled company that appears will not make things right and stand by their promise.  The company is big so they pass the buck.  

 Hard to believe.  But I realize now after seeing many other people posting the exact same experience with Heartland, they are doing this same thing to other small business owners.    They end up drafting monthly fees as long as they can to keep their revenue flowing.   Looks small, but if they do this to thousands and thousands of small business owners, it adds up to big money for them.  And they know our little businesses are not able to fight them.
