HHgregg Buyer beware!! this company wont honor warranties and outsources EVERYTHING out of country Indianapolis Indiana

ATTENTION!!!! DONT EVER buy from this company! What they dont tell you when they are lying to you about how ownderful their products are, is that they dont honor any warranties from any company or brand you buy. the only ones who will ever fix, repair or work on your appliances is GE. For example, all my BOSE equipment will only be serviced by GE, which of course, makes my BOSE wanrranty null and void once GE opens it up to "fix" it. If they cannot fix it, you are just out of luck, so the extended warranty you paid extra for is bogus. And the service people that come out to "service" your appliances can never sevice the BOSE stuff because the "arent trained to service BOSE", only BOSE manufacturer can service BOSE, GE cannot. So the logical thing would be for GE to pay BOSE to do the warratny work, but they wont do that either, so you are really screwed.

AND, no matter what, you can NEVER get through to someone who could actually authorize something. Their execs absolutely, categorically WILL NOT take calls from customers and hide behind the "corp. customer service" people who are totally impotent to do anything about most issues. You are simply told "the execs are too busy handling other issues to talk to customers!" Wow! What exactly is "more important" than a customer in a consumer based company?

AND, as if that is not bad enough, their credit cards are serviced by GE Money bank who OUTSOURCES ALL of their account servicing to countries outside of North America. It is almost impossible to speak to someone from N. America so you are forced to deal with people from everywhere else when you are already aggrevated, now you have to try to interpret what the hell they are saying, listen to all the nonstop, nonsincere apologies and get nothing accomplished.

Overall a lovely experience, rates right up there with a root canal at the dentist without the novacaine. AVOID this company, life is tooo shoorrttt.

You have some serious issues honey. I don't know what rock you have been hiding under, but just about every company that does business in the U.S. outsources to other countries. Do you want to know why? Because people like you want cheap products, so this is why our economy sucks and unemployment rates go up. Just remember when you are at the supermarket or shopping anywhere, read your labels and see where something was made. I bet it was outsourced.

HHGregg is a retailer not a manufacturer. Manufacturers warranty thier products not retailers who simply sell them, ok? Bose wouldn't come to your house to fix electronics, no one does. this must be carried in to service. HHGregg doesn't control where other companies employ people, but are hardly alone in having contacts outside the usa. What do you want them to authorize? a return? this is up to mfg or warranty company. Front line people there have expertise to help you but without knowing any specifics, as this complaint is so broad and vague here and only one sided. HHgregg is not a bank either. If you don't want to use "our" credit, then you're free to use VISA MASTERCARD AMEX and speak to whatever staff they wish to employ.
