I purchased a appliances and other items in 01/09 from the hhgregg in Montrose, Ohio. Delivery was scheduled 2:00 -5:00 P.M. The washer and dryer did not come with all parts. I contacted the store with concerns about the delivery and tried re-scheduling a new delivery date with consideration to my work schedule. Of course, hhgregg could care less, that, we the public work for a living and refuse to make any special arrangements, even when the mistake was theirs. If you purchase anything from this company, don't count on their promises, once they have your money, it's over. Needless to say, I must make arrangements to give up another weekend day for another delivery. There are other stores, with prices somewhat higher... but weight the idea of wasting a weekend for hhgregg convenience or saving a few dollars. My time is worth more then a few saved dollars.

"Parts"??

You do not mention what "parts" were missing. But one would assume that if they delivered your washer and dryer, you could have accepted the delivery and then arranged to pick up any "parts" at the store in-person at your convenience. The only "parts" that could possibly be missing would be a dryer cord, drain hose, or vent. Nothing that requires delivery by truck.

First off employee... I personally have experienced multiple stores that will work with you and deliver items when you are there and not at work.  LOWES for one. 

By being rude you just solidified the consumer complaint yet again.  How about trying and apologizing for the misunderstanding next time?  That might get people to respect your store again.  Or don't volunteer that you are an employee.

Its a amazing HHgregg is in business still

You should keep in mind that the salespeople, managers, and delivery drivers are also members of the public who also work for a living. We're all well aware of work schedules, however due to routing as many deliveries as possible on one trip and proceeding from one location to the next in logical order I don't know of any large companies that will deliver at a certain time on a certain day. Regardless of where you buy something the best plan is to have it delivered on a day you do not have work.
