Hometown America Green River Village The worst run complex and the most expensive Corona, California

There are over 300 homes in this complex - each one is paying at least $1,000 a month - do the math! Yet, this is the worst run complex I have come across.

Despite making an ungodly amount of money every month - there is absolutely no service.

They have a gym that is locked up to residents until 9am and closes at 6pm.

The laundry facilities on site are never kept up. One of the washers was left broken (but still accepting money) for over 6 months - not days, months. Another of the machines floods with every use. It is dirty and full of cobwebs and ants.

There is no warning that utilities will be shut off and if you try to call the office for details of why you have no water for several hours, you just reach an answer machine with a recorded message.

They decided to put the residents first on morning by holding up outbound traffic at the gate to offer a "free breakfast" - a honey bun or equally undesirable item or a banana. That is the sum total of their idea of customer service.

They will not tolerate yard sales within the park unless they organize it - which in their contract is supposed to happen every few other month or so. They have organized 1 in 2011. So if you were not able to make that 1 single weekend you are out of luck completely.

The park manageress is extremely unprofessional - does not dress formally for work, leaves her trash cans out for over a week in front of her home (which is inside the park), is loud and thoughtless to neighbors, even had furniture sitting outside her home for sale or to be picked up!

The rest of the staff try very hard to compensate but it clearly is down to management. Absolutely terrible. I truly hope no one ever buys here again. The current residents want out. That alone should tell you everything.
