Hotwire.com Mislead Advertising Internet

Recently I used Hotwire.com to reserve a room in Boston. I booked 4 weeks in advance. The Ad for my decision read: "Hotwire's mission is to offer unbeatable low prices on airline tickets, hotel reservations, car rentals, vacation packages and cruises. Through our partnerships with leading travel companies, we can get you low prices that can't be found anywhere else. Save up to 60%." Hotwire is a wholly owned business of Expedia Inc.

After reserving, (You never know what you'll be getting until after you give the credit card info) I was giving the hotel "Club Quarters" for 89.00 a night. I could have gone to the Club Quarters on my own and booked the same room for the same night for 91.00. I had only saved $2.00 by using Hotwire.com. That was ridicules! If I had ever expected it would only be $2.00 savings I would have never booked it.

I contacted hotwire but did not get anywhere. I was told if I could find the hotel cheaper than they gave me I would get the room for free. Well Golly Gee I was $2.00 short. I felt I was truly mislead by this ad and it was a total ripoff. I will never be using Hotwire.hotel, or Expedia ever again and want to pass this information to anyone else who may fall for the same ad.
