House Values/Just Listed is a definite rip off. Much of my complaint consists of what many others have written about: Specifically, bogus leads and a general failure to provide anywhere near the level of service they promise when conning people into signing up.

However, in early October of 2007 I had to leave real estate due to family issues which required me to go to Arizona. I sent House Values an email telling them to cancel my account. That email was sent via my nationally "branded" email address. When my former broker notified the national franchise that I was no longer affiliated with her brokerage, my email account was deleted.

House Values continued to take money from my account for an additional 8 months.

Yes, I should have caught it sooner but at the time I was out of state and my husband was not in the habit of going over my bank statements.

When I returned home and realized what had been going on I immediately contacted House Values. They basically told me to....well, I won't go there, but you get the idea.

I was able to get an email acknowledging the conversation which took place in early June, but no refund of any part of what they had, in essence, stolen from me.

Imagine my surprise when I opened my next bank statement and saw that they had once again stolen money from my account well after they were notified.

Thankfully I had used a Visa/Debit card and was able to have my bank charge back 3 months of fees.

They still are "into me" for over $2500.00

Furthermore, I have requested copies of any contracts/paperwork regarding my account. They have ignored my requests except to tell me that I must file any legal action in Washington State. Not exactly easy, but not impossible either as I have 3 adult children that live in Western Washington.

After seeing this site and all the reports of fraud and abuse perpetrated by House Values, I am filing a report with the Attorney General's office in Washington State. Also plan to get to Washington and file with small claims court in the very near future.
