I have a HP notebook TX 1320us that has presented wireless and screen problems recently. Although warranty is expired. Authorized Technical support in Brazil assured this is a manufacturing deffect. Several foruns at the internet confirm this. HP support deny to recognize the problem and several users, including me, are out of proper unified support.

Warranty

A warranty protects you from manufacturing defects for a certain period of time.  After that, you're on your own.    Why should they care about manufacturing defects that show up after the warranty period?   If you wanted that kind of coverage, you should have bought an extended warranty.
