I inquired at the HP customer service telephone center about an out-of-warranty printer problem.  I was told that there would be a $24.99 service charge, but that the entier amount would be refunded if they were unable to resolve the problem.  After much effort, and the service representative was very knowledgable and tried long and hard, they were unable to fix the problem.  And, although the representative said the charges had been reversed.  They did not and they still have my money.  Oh, and they also managed to add another $1 service charge at the same time that I was not told about and which also was not reversed.
