H&r Block account numbers changed Topeka Internet

I too filed online with hr block. I did my research on line and did not apply for the emerald card, I had read too many negative feed backs with this card.

I agreed to simple pay which I was told was to pay my fees through my refund. My husband choose to use another online tax service. We were both informed that our refunds were deposited to our checking accounts on the 25th of January. My husbands went to the other companies bank Friday morning and was deposited into our account Friday by noon.

Since I had been told that mine had been deposited also, I wrote our mortgage payment on this account along with other bills. Guess what, my money never showed up.

On Sunday I emailed the hr block web site under questions and my response was that hr block changed my routing and checking account number to their bank and would sometime this week forward my money on to me.

Since they are already getting $29.95 of my refund, they are not entitled to anything else that I didn't agree to. I certainly did not agree to them changing my bank information without notifying me, or with holding my monies from my account.

This does not seem legal to me for them to take what is mine and keep it until they want to give it back.

Now I'm stuck with all these overdraft fees and late payment fees to my mortgage company. It seems to me that hr block owes me this money back.
