I purchased a 2004 Mazda 3 and was financed by HSBC AUTO FINANCE. My car was at the time 13,571 in June of 2007 and it is now 2009 and I owe them 12,841.34. What in the HELL is this. Ive been paying on this car for almost three years and Ive only paid 730.00, this company has got to be kidding me.

I came up on some hard times as everyone in the world and yeah I did fall behind only by a month and a half. I was offered by HSBC AUTO FINANCE a loan modification, which by the way doesnt help. By time they agree and everything is all squared away your next payment is due in roughly 2 and a half weeks. So those loan modifications / deffered 1 time monthly payment isnt so. Its a big joke with false hope of catching up. When I saw myself falling behind by 1 month I called and asked to defere my payments and was told on more than 1 occassion, lets try like 12 times that I wasnt a month behind and that wasnt an option for me at that point. So whe almost 2 months hit, it was the same response with no reaction/solution. HSBC AUTO FINANCE IDIOTS!!!!  

They called me starting at 8:05am sharp everyday, all day, up to 12 times a day, every hour on the hour up until about 8pm sometime 9 o'clock pm. I was very annoyed and my stress levels were at there highest not to mention im diabetic with high blood pressure. When I did pick up the phone to talk to them, they were rude, never would listen and assured me that they were noting the account which wasn't so because as soon as that call was done someone else calls almost 2 hours later if that, asking about your next payment. They tell you to send in a certain amount to catch your account back up and as soon as you send it, there calling you as soon as the payment post and saying that the payment was short of this amount. It never ever STOPPED!!!! The phone calls which were extreme HARRASSMENT and the CONSTANT LIES that the fake me out rude a*s customer service reps would tell to get you to send HSBC AUTO some money.

They also started threatning me about repossessing my car. Letter after letter was sent to me and nothing added up about what they wanted me to pay and your telling me to call so we can work something out and then the next day a repossession letter is sent certified in the mail with a return reciept. OH MY GOD!!!! I am currently still dealing with this company trying to find a way out. After all of the payments Ive made to them none of the payments reflect what I OWE NOW, its as if Ive never payed a thing. I just found out that there no longer doing business in the USA. So who are my payments going to and shouldnt my balance be moving down??? This company will milk you for everyhting that you have. After 1 payment is made there calling the next day for another 1 and keep on telling you if you send in this amount...... a fake me out a*s loan modification can be done.

I know I was behind almost 2 months but to tell me 4, they can KICK ROCKS and KISS MY A** with that 1. They need to be stopped and soon. Thank GOD i keep all of the letters sent from them with the inconsistencies and proof of payment and proof of balance now. Theres always some late charge/ balance short/default fee added from them . Starting from 15.00 to 47.19 to 223.03 to other charges 15.00 only GOD knows what that is.

I am still stuck with this company due to hard times and my credit isnt that great right now but I would love to get away from them bring my credit back up and bounce back from this mess that HSBC AUTO FINANCE has created. They call from these numbers 1-800-418-1888, 888-477-2297,800-836-6469. All I can say is BUYER BE WARE!!!
