Internic Moving Services Poor estimate wasted thousands - refused to refund deposit Montreal Quebec Canada

My issue is with their original estimate and then what they asked for once they picked up the shipment. The original estimate was for around $5,300 based on a list of items I provided them. Once the shipment was picked up the amount jumped to around $11,000. I know there were items included that were not on the original list but there were other items not shipped (like a slate pool table) that were on the list. I expected maybe an additional 3000 pounds but it came out closer to 13,000 pounds. I feel the initial estimate was way too low for the items listed and was very misleading. Basically their method of estimating lacks credibility.

I ended up paying around $2,500 to have the shipment moved out of the house and back in because I cancelled the move. Internic took no responsibility and refused to refund the $1,100 deposit.
