I have had it with interval international there is no point in buying a membership for vacation exchange from these people. We did an online exchange august 3 2009 and ended up losing are vacation week due to intervals stupidity and illegal business practices. Once they got us to deposit our normal week they gave away the week we had exchanged for and we lost our normal week. We had also requested time off from work to coincide with the exchanged week which left me stuck with that time due to a full vacation schedule at my workplace. Interval international is just one part of the whole time share rip off industry and they think they are above the law. Their story this time was that our home resort did not approve our request to deposit our normal week for exchange and that they would hold our exchange for ten days to allow us to straiten out the problem with our home resort. Interval sent out a postcard to let us know about the problem with a date of august 5 2009 and ten days to respond but the card was not put in the mail until a day later and by the time we received it and called they claimed that they had given away our week. buy contractual law they would have had to contact us through email as we did them to make the exchange and there should be ten days from the time you are notified not the fake time they make up as they did. The players in the time share rip game make most of their money skirting the law and hoping no one will take them to court. Some of the players I am dealing with are interval international, gold key resorts,  the villas at the boardwalk vabeach, the city of va beach for letting these scam artist set up shops on street corners and harass vacationers, the state of Virginias attorney generals office for not forcing these people to abide by the same laws that we all have to abide by.
