Mariany.com James "Jimmy" Mariany Took money to make website - Site wasnt made and I havent gotten back money Merrimack New Hampshire

Please beware of this man on any Craigslist posts or any other Internet classfieds for we design! I initially posted an ad on craigslist looking for someone who could design me a website based around horse racing. James "Jimmy" Mariany responsed to my ad, was polite, and said he could do it in a quick turnaround time of a few days for $450. Before he could get started, I had to send him an "upfront" fee of $200, with the remaining $250 to be paid in subsequent months.

Jimmy received payment as I promised him, and when I began to email him nearly daily to see how the site was coming along, he would always give real quick answers and say everything was moving fine. Well days became weeks (we're now over 5 weeks), and he never showed me a single thing!! I have over 55 emails where he says things like "the site will be ready in a day," "ready in 2 hours" "im uploading it now" "later this afternoon" and on and on and on.. nothing but false promises and flat out lies from Jimmy Mariany. He even went so far as to say he has spent 40 hours on this, but when I asked him to show me ANY visual evidence, he could not do so. Finally he said 2 weeks ago he would refund the $200 I sent him so far. When I pressed him on where my refund was, he stated he was broke, and needed to find another job to pay me (after he already spent my money for services never provided). Needless to say, I have yet to see a dime, as he keeps putting me off day after day still with nothing but lies.

At this point I realize he is never going to refund anything, as he truly is a pathological liar who sucked me in from Craigslist. His website looks legitimate enough which is why I first sent him money, but I can assure you he has no intention of doing a single thing he says. Please dont do business with Jimmy Mariany, as it has been nothing but a hell experience.
