Janian and Associates Janian and Associates bunch of crooks and liars never return phone calls Glendale, California

I am filing my complaint against Janian and Associates located in Glendale, California. I signed up with this law firm for a home loan modification on October 2009 and two payments were removed from my bank account on October 15th and November 15th in the amount of $1450, totaling $2900 to begin the process. The law firm has a guarantee policy that after six months if a loan modification is not completed a total refund will be return. This was also stipulated by Karla Garcia at the time I submitted my claim. Eleven months rolled by and Richard Martinez the lawyer who was working on my case informed me that the loan modification did not go through. I was frustrated after waiting eleven months being told that GMAC was reviewing the documents and we should be finalizing soon. He told me that someone would call me about my refund. This was on October 30th. After about a week I emailed RM and told him I had not received a call from anyone. On November 8th he emailed me back to contact Ingrid Franco. I have left a dozen messages with her and she has not returned any of my calls. Here is a person who has no regard for people who are having financial issues and does not have the courtesy of returning phone calls. The first call I made to Ingrid Franco and a woman answer the call and said that Ingrid was on another line and would call me back. Well apparently this woman forgot to hang up the phone and I overheard the woman and Ingrid conversing between them. The woman never informed Ingrid about my message and Ingrid Franco was not on another call. Ingrid Franco does not return phone calls. She has the audacity to engage with other peoples money and when their lives depend on it. She is irresponsible and not trustworthy. She should be terminated for her callous disposition. I also called the main number twice and explained to them regarding my refund and again I was told that someone would return my call. I have made fourteen phone calls and not one call has been returned. This firm does not want to reimburse and return my $2900 that is owed to me. I have no choice but to file complaints to the district attorney, BBB.org and ripoff report.com. I would not recommend this firm to anyone. They cannot be trusted. In the bbb.org they were rated an A in 2009 now they are rated an F. This shows the degradation of this firm. Im in need of my money, ASAP
