I am a customer, I purchased my car in August my loan amount was 11,000.00 dollars. On December 6th, I was involved in an accident,  The insurance filed my car as a total lost. The insurance company sent JD Byrider a check for $2000.00 dollars the value of the car. I had been in contact the entire time. I have never missed a payment. I was told once my check was received from the insurance, my account would be reviewed and would be able to purchase another car. I have been without a car for 2 weeks. I was told by the manager at CNAC that the general manger would give me a call to discuss my account.I have left messages for the general manager in the Midlothian office and she will not return my call. My calls are being ignored.  I am being treated unfairly. I dont agree with charging customers twice as much for a car, then what it  is worth and then not helping them, leaving them with a balance and without a car.

Please do not get another JD Byrider vehicle

You are in the process of learning a valuable lesson.  You still owe the balance of $9000 from the last vehicle because your insurance only paid $2,000.  Don't compound your problem by getting another high cost, low-value vehicle at JD Byrider. Do your research. It is best to buy a cash (cheap) vehicle until you pay off your remaining balance.  Then, next time, go to a dealership and buy a decent vehicle - but do your research so you don't overpay again.  JD Byrider takes advantage of people that don't bother to learn the buying process + most have poor credit. Get out of this cycle now, while you can.

Okay first you are without a car because you got into an accident..that is not the fault of this or any other dealer.  If you were NOT at fault..YOU should have fought harder for the other party to pay the amount owed on the car.

Even if you were at fault, Insurance companies will in just about every case attempt to "low ball" you on the settlement.  If they said "Well we will give you $2000" and you said.."okay" then you left probably quite a bit of money on the table.  Now, it wouldn't have been the entire 11K, but it could have been a lot more than $2000.

Now, as for this(or any dealer).  Guess what...they are not your "friend".  This company is a dealer for "High Risk" people, that is people that could not even remotely get a loan from a "regular" company.  With High Risk comes High Fees and costs, because they are taking the chance on you when no one else would.

You say you never missed a payment.  Good..that is what you are supposed to do.  But since that is really at most 3-4 payments, that is not saying a lot.

Now, here is the fact as far as they are concerned you still owe $9,000(give or take).  Again they are NOT your friend or have some moral obligation to become a charity because you hit a rough patch..Sorry but that is just the way it is.  If they do end up helping you, you can pretty much guarantee it would be by them "rolling over" that balance into a new loan.  So the next $11,000 car you purchase from them will cost you $20,000.

In case you are not aware of this, I would highly suggest you look at purchasing "GAP" insurance on your next car.
