Jennifer Greer Paid for a custom made mecate - never received item or my money back Phone: Pomona Illinois

On November 18, 2008 I ordered a deluxe yacht rope mecate from Black Pond Outfitters. I spoke with Jennifer Greer on the phone to ensure the colors for the rawhide braiding were available. I was assured the rawhide was available and the mecate would take 3-4 weeks to complete. I called her once or twice - sent several e-mails regarding my mecate after the initial 3 weeks I was told it would take to complete. I was told it was almost finished she would send me a picture via e-mail of it before she shipped it later that week. After several more weeks had gone by I called her yet again - Finally several days later get an e-mail from her stating my mecate was shipped back to her as undeliverable - there had been a fire at the shop and people were cleaning up and that's how she discovered it had been shipped back. She offered to return my money or send me the mecate - I asked her to check my address to be sure it was correct (still believing she would send me my item) and for a tracking number - I was willing to pay extra to have the item shipped 2nd day air - this was just before Christmas. To this date I have not received an e-mail, a phone call, my money back, or the mecate for which I have paid for two months ago. Her website is no longer on the Internet. I have called numerous times she does not return calls and the e-mail address no longer is a valid e-mail address. BEWARE of this person!!!! Is there anyone out there who wants to join me in getting together a lawsuit against this woman and her company?
