Upon arriving 2 hours prior to departure at JFK Airport the place was filthy. Gnats and other unknown insects were flying everywhere. The carpeting was so dirty that I was afraid to walk on it. There was trash in the seats and on the floors.
This airport is named after a famous president and should represent themselves as such.
Regarding Jet Blue Airlines....The flight was delayed for 2 hours because they did not have a flight crew. HOW do a airline setup flights and don't arrange for a crew? THATS STUPID!!
When the gentleman at the boarding gate was approached about the departure time he was unhelpful and rude. He treated individuals that were asking about the departure time like they were beneath him. It doesn't help that he was a foreigner!
The flight was suppose to depart at 9:35 pm on August 6. Then the ETD went to 10:15 pm. Eventually at around 11:30pm or 11:45 pm we boarded. I will never fly Jet Blue again nor will I ever step foot in JFK Airport (The Slum)!!!!

There are many large airports (i.e. Las Vegas) that have thousands of people accessing it and it is ALWAYS maintained in a clean manner. The entire airport was dirty, not just where I was boarding! There is no excuse for FILTH! Apparently you are accustomed to it!!! In regards to the delay in the Jet Blue flight....If you could read you would have seen that I complained about not having an available flight crew. I guess that is why you are NO LONGER EMPLOYED there.... NO business nor customer service sense!

JFK airport is one of the larger busier airports of the world. With all the people passing through, some days being businer than the next, perhaps the cleaning crews had not made it to that area of the airport yet for janitorial services.
As for complaining that your flight did not take off on time, it happens to everyone that flys at one point or another. I worked for the airlines, in the past and I feel that everyone that complains about their filghts and delays needs to get their butt out there in the pit and load some baggage, fill up the catering supplies, marshall the plane in and out the gate area.
After you work there you know what's going on in the aviation world. If it annoys you that much, DON'T FLY. Take the Greyhound!
