The first time this happened was when Jiffy Lube changed my serpentine belt(s).  I started getting loud squeling noises.  I took it to a AAA mechanic, they notified me that whoever (Jiffy Lube) changed my belt forgot to put the second one, for the air conditioninig/etc. back on...

The second incident was more recent, the exact next time I went to Jiffy Lube for just an oil change.  They overcharged me ($80+ including a $15 coupon) for high-mileage oil.  I later found out they barely screwed on the oil filter, which caused all the oil to leak out and the remaining oil to become sludge.

Luckily, I escaped both incidents with minimal damage.  I would suggest not taking your auto to a mechanic you can't trust to do even simple tasks such as these.  As far as I am concerned, I am done for life taking any of my cars to Jiffy Lube - I cannot trust them to do simple and basic tasks, and they have now permanently lost my business...

And yes, I did report it as a Customer complaint here...

Jiffy lube-Broad River Took car for an oil change and after paying I couldn't drive car out of the bay--they sent me back inside to see if they could fix the working car that I brought in. They came back and gave me my keys and said have a nice day but I had to follow mechanic and ask why the car automatically shut off when its never done that before. He said there was something wrong with my system and that I should take it to the dealership. My car has never cut off before until this one time I entered this one shop and the mechanic, also the manager, tried to convince me after the car had already been given a clean bill of health that now this one specific thing went wrong. Advance Auto Sales I bought a car 4/8/17 I had issues as soon as i drove off the lot called they were closed, waitin until monday 4/10/2017, took it to bill estes dealership to get a recall done they proceed to tell me how the car needed timing chains and it would cost me 2200$, I contacted them they told me the dealership was giving me the wrong information, I got the vehicle checked at oReillys jiffy lube and auto zoone, they all gave me the same codes or similar, on 4/13/2017 i called the owner Garnet Cook to come get the vehicle from CarX where it had broke down completetly, it needs an engine, air pumps,catylc converter, timing chains, OIL LEAKAGE, feul pumps, it has alot going on and I personally read reviews after the fact and this man has a bad reputation, when people do business with you, you should at least show some type of respect and assist them REGARDLESS of the warranties.
