Jason, Follow my postings, it's all laid out. I HAVE taken JK Harris to small claims court, I HAVE won, I DID collect, and also earned the undieing hatred of Monica Linder.

You take JK to small claims court, ask for the maximum allowed in your state. Name JK as the defendant, and the sales person as the codefendant. If the sales person is no longer there, get the name of another sales person. That part is very important.

Use their office address where you met as the service address. JK thinks that they are above the law, so they will not appear. Should they appear, which is highly unlikely, they would have to explain why they have been jerking you around.

When you go to the hearing, ask for "Treble" damages, (3x's) the original amound, and explain to the judge how they have screwed you. JK still won't pay, but in 30 days you go to a collection hearing, and ask for a "Capias". this is an arrest warrant for the sales person to appear in court and explain why JK hasn't paid you.

Send (fax) a copy to JK HArris corporate, and send one to the sales office, asking them where the best place to arrest the sales person would be, home or the office?

At this point JK ususally falls all over themselves to get you your money. You will receive the amount awarded by the court, plus interest, and court costs. Been there done that, it works.

Have your Lawyer contact the IL Attorney General Fraud and Investigation unit which is also looking into JK Harris's Fraudlent business practices.

Hi Jason, You can retrieve all your money. File for the maximum amount allowed by law in your state. When you go to the hearing, have your paperwork of all the crap JK put you through, and ask for "Treble Damages", (3x's)the original amount. Based on your presentation to the judge, you should be awarded that amount. When you file papers for the complaint, make sure that you name the sales person as the codefendant. You will also collect for cost and interest.

PETER, THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME OUT TO HELP. I THOUGHT ABOUT SMALL CLAIMS COURT BUT, THE LIMIT IS 3000.00 DOLLARS. I GAVE THEM 6300.00 AND THATS ONLY 2 CONTRACTS, NOT COUNTING ALL THE EXTRA STUFF OVER THE YEARS, I NEED TO FIND OUT HOW TO GET ALL MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE THE BOTTOM LINE IS THEY DONT DESERVE TO GET TO KEEP ANY, JKH ONLY MADE ME WORSE THEN WHEN I WENT TO THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. I CALLED OHIO ATTORNY GENERAL AND THEY ARE INVESTIGATING IT BECAUSE IM NOT THE FIRST ONE TO CALL THEM.

THEY HELPED ME WITH A LAWYER THAT I MEET ON THE 11TH. I NEED HELP WITH STATEMENTS FROM OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN HURT FROM THEM. BECAUSE LIKE YOU I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!

Jason, Sorry for your experiance, but read some of the other postings, your not alone. to get you money back, the only way that JK Harris will react, is if you take them to small claims court. Read the other postings on how to file. If youneed additional assistance, just post on this site, and I'll respond. Small claims works, but it is a little time consuming.
