My experience with JUST SUSPENSION (aka KYB Outlet and Suspensions LLC) started on November 2nd 2011 when I ordered two Monroe Sensa Trac struts, Monroe Part # 71963 (2004 Mustang). The price for the struts, boots and new hardware was $228.49.

On November 9th I called to check on my order, I was informed the struts above was on national back-order and would not be available for about two weeks. On or about November 23, I again called was told the same story. I was put on hold, while she called the factory for an update?? I was again told the struts were on national back order, but my name was on top of the list, and the struts would be shipped as soon as the arrived.

I told her I did not want to wait, to cancel the Monroes and I asked what she had that could be shipped right away. I was told KYB struts were available and I would have them before Dec 1, 2011. I told her that would be satisfactory. I was also told to expect a Fed-Ex e-mail with a tracking number within a day or two. The November date came and went and I heard nothing from Just Suspension or Fed-Ex with a tracking number. I called and was put on hold, and cut off after about 20 minutes. I e-mailed them and told them to cancel the whole order and refund my credit card in the amount of $228.49. I have had no reply from them and have never received any struts or a credit.

It has become obvious that this company cannot be trusted. I called around and found out the struts were never on national back-order, as I was told and were available on Nov. 2 when I first placed the order. I checked with the BBB in North Carolina and discovered this company has had numerous (42) complaints similar to mine. At this point I dont believe Just Suspension ever had any intention of delivering the struts/boots/hardware to me. Hopefully enough people will see the numerous reports on this website about this company and they will go out of business. I am also going to file a report with the North Carolina BBB and forward a copy of this report to the NC Attorney Generals office. With so many complaints, just maybe NCAG fraud unit might take a look at this company.

Just Suspension came thru for me

AUTHOR: reality checker - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, March 04, 2012

I do not have any linkage to this company, except that I recently ordered about 400.00 worth of suspension parts from them. The cost locally would have been 600.00+.

The parts arrived when promised, they were correct, the mechanic who installed them said they were good parts. I was a little worried about using the code "ripoff" when I ordered, but it saved me money.

I like this company and I will order from them again. They were easy to deal with, delivered everything they promised, and discounted my order by offering the code "ripoff". Who could ask for anything more?

They did a great job of supplying parts for my pathfinder (not the most common truck). I was not looking for an Email chat friend or someone to talk to on the phone, I wanted good parts, cheap, and they got it done.

There may have been some cosmetic damage or scratched paint, not the kind of thing I usually worry about on truck suspension parts, there was nothing out of the ordinary with the parts, they work well.

Just Suspension Rules! I will buy from them again.

smoke and mirrors

AUTHOR: Carguy - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, December 12, 2011

This company has a good p.r. person responding to these complaints but the people who actually answer phones are not so sharp. 42 compaints at the BBB say it all.  You can call but it's no guarantee you will be made happy. The return policies are set up to make them better money than the parts division.  Wanna buy happiness? Order somewhere else and count your money as well spent cause anybody but Just Suspensions will make you happier.  Better yet, we checked out KYB directly and got parts cheaper!

One of the struts damaged during shipping

AUTHOR: franksmustang - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, December 04, 2011

I gave Just Suspension the benefit of the doubt too soon. As I said in the last post one of the shipping Boxes of you want to call them that was broken open and had been taped up , I assume by the shipper.

When I took a close look this AM, I found a lot of cosmetic damage to one of the struts, and the top threads were damaged and the nut would not go on. Judging by the condition of the box I can only assume this happened during shipment. I hope I can have the threads cleaned up at the local machine shop, and will not have to hassle shipping this strut back to the dealer. The cosmetic damage, as irritating as it is I can live with.

These struts are not light, and this whole thing could have been avoided had the shipper wrapped the struts to prevent shipping damage. No wonder so many people are upset with this dealer. I have waited well over a month to get my Mustang on the road again. This whole experience has been an exercise in What not to Do Last time I order parts like this on the internet. I saved about $35.00, and looking back it was a big mistake on my part, a mistake I will not make again. I would have been a lot better off buying these struts locally and for sure my Mustang would not have been down for over a month.

Also I have no idea who the shipper was, as I NEVER got an e-mail from Fed Ex. I paid for Fed Ex home delivery and they don't deliver on Saturdays. Who ever dropped the struts off was driving a "Budget Rental truck??" and had it not been for my dog barking I would have never known the delivery was made.

This is my last post as I am really fed up with this whole exercise

Order Delivered Saturday

AUTHOR: franksmustang - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, December 03, 2011

I owe Just Suspension an apology The KYB struts were
delivered on Saturday at 5PM my time. The shipping boxes were damaged, but all
parts seem to be usable. Again my apologies. Based on this report I guess
readers can decide for themselves if they wish to do business with this company,
but I did finally get what I paid for.

Franks parts shipped to him 4 days ago, he must have not seen the tracking emails

AUTHOR: Just Suspension - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, December 02, 2011

The Monroe shocks that Mr. Winters needed were on national backorder, or we would have happily shipped them to him straight from the monroe factory in Arkansas.  We called and told him that, and he was happy to change over to the in-stock KYB shocks that fit his car.  We promptly shipped them out to him, and his parts are scheduled for delivery today (December 2nd) as we promised.  We did send  him the tracking email as well, but it appears he did not see that.

Call us anytime 8:30-5:30 Monday-Friday eastern time at (704) 809-1269 or email us. Leave us a message after hours, we will return your call if you leave us a phone number. We are confident you will find us to be honest americans that are working hard to save you money, get you parts quickly, and address any problems promptly.

We have been in business since 1983 and are happy to prove to you why we have millions of happy repeat customers. Go to www.JustSuspension.com and use discount code RIPOFF and give us a try, you will be happy you did!
