This company is the arm pit of auto part stores. They lied to us, they lied to the BBB, they lied to our bank, they will lie to you too. All they want is your credit card number and then your money is gone even if you return your order.
Beginning of December I placed an order online for parts with my credit card. I received an email stating that my credit card had been declined and went straight to my wife to find out what was up. She explained to me how since our car accident on Nov. 2, money was tight since even though not at fault - Colo law makes us responsible for our own medical bills. After looking over our bank statement I decided it was a good thing the charge did not go through and immediately went back online and cancelled the order. Imagine my surprise when on Christmas Day all these parts started showing up.
As soon as the parts started to come I called Just Suspension and the guy on the phone said not to worry that if I returned the parts they would return my money. So I returned all the parts. Just Suspension said I did not need a P.O or anything in the box but this seemed odd so I put a copy of my info in there anyway.
After many phone calls and still no credit to my account I got worried. Carl at Just Suspension eventually said there was no way that I could have cancelled the order online. I did, I went in and zeroed out my order and it no longer said "pending". Now I am being charged by them over $600 in restocking and shipping fees. Do not order from this company.
They have no stated policy for returns online and their website is decieving. When we fought with them they used KYB's return policy as their justification.
I have learned a very expensive lesson. Buyers Beware! After getting only the run around from Just Suspension I complained to the BBB. Guess what? They tried to close out the complaint as settled twice on me! They lied to the BBB and said I was getting my money back even though I hadn't seen a dime. So I went to my bank and after weeks of going back and forth they denied everything to the bank too! This company is unbelievable.
They periodically delete accounts and the complaints on Dexknows.com so if you hate them complain again there.

My journey began a year ago last November (2010) and after a year of being on a roller coaster and believing that all help had been exhausted I found Ripoff Report and with their help a partial refund was obtained. I told Just Suspension that I would not forget their treachery. The BBB and the banks didn't help get my money back, this website did. Thank you. Just Suspension had my money for a year but they have now given me back a partial refund which is better than nothing. After having been lied to by them for so long I did not believe they would send a check. They told the BBB and the bank that they had refunded my money at least 5 times last Dec and Jan. If I had written this note as soon as I received the check at Christmas, as they wanted me to, I would have written a much more scathing reply. I have two reasons for putting my complaint on the internet for all to see. One to obtain a refund of the money they kept but a more important one of warning other consumers of what can happen when an order goes wrong. Their new website has a Customer Service tab that has a return policy in it. A year ago this website was so basic it didn't even have that. The new return policy is complicated and I feel still doesn't reflect what customers are accustomed to with other companies. If you place an order online you should be able to cancel that order online, which is what started this mess for me. This company is shameless and anyone who orders from it is rolling the dice. I was told "No problem" a year ago by a Just Suspension employee when I said I was receiving parts I had not ordered. Their definition of "No problem" must be aggravation and upset. I can't say thank you enough to Ripoff Report for helping to motivate J.S. to issue a partial refund. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I'm done with this company, karma will take care of the rest.

The owner of this business is a liar, claiming his company's origination date of 1983. The State of North Carolina clearly states this company's origination date of 2004. Don't believe me, see for yourself by Googling "North Carolina Secretary of State Corporations", then perform entity search using Suspensions or Suspension, LLC. The company owner does not address this disparity, he simply re-states the lie, over, and over, and over, and over, as if he can somehow make this lie, true, by sheer repetition. If he will continually lie about an insignificant detail like this, what else will he lie about?

Who is Lying? Determine for Yourselves

This company claims, both on their website, and in other postings on this website, to have been in business since 1983. They claim, 28 years. But when you read their website privacy statement listing the legal company entity name, Suspensions, LLC, then compare their claims with public information posted on the state or North Carolina's corporate website, their claims appear to be fraudulent. According to verifiable government sources, business origination date was early 2005. Don't believe me? See for yourself. Simply Google North Carolina Corporation, click the link, select search, type in Suspensions, LLC, decide for yourself. If they will lie about this, what else will they lie about?

as was stated in the complaint "Ms. Colson filed a chargeback. This took the matter out of our hands" that's what happens when foolish people do things then get mad. once she filed the chargeback it was a done deal. It would seem that this could have all been avoided if Mr. and Mrs. Colson would communicate better about their finances. I do Credit card customer service and it's stunning the amount of people who play fast and loose with their banking info. They don't read terms and then scream SCAM when the company does only what was stated that they would do, simply returning a product is NO reason for a refund, try reading the terms of an offer before ordering, and FYI, having filed a chargeback it might well be months before the colson's find out they are out of luck and have too cough up $600. An unfortunate expensive lesson in communication.

News Flash!! Rachel at Just Suspension has informed me that a check is waiting to be mailed as soon as I file an update here on Rip Off Report that they are sending me a check. So everyone I hopefully will be posting a report in a few days that they have finally refunded my money. I'm still holding my breath!

Sounds Fair! Too bad I know Just Suspension is just trying to give me an ulcer for Christmas.
I have called you so many times and you Refuse to give me back Any of my money. You issued an "In Store Credit" After deducting about a thousand dollars off my order for "Shipping and Handling Charges".
Drove my wife crazy waiting for a refund check, none came for months. A year later, and you are once again claiming to be willing to refund my money but I know you lie.
You have my money. You already have my address. Want to show how "Sorry" you are then be a normal business and mail me a check.
Anyone who purchases from Just Suspension can just kiss their money good-bye. They may get the parts they ordered, in a beat up old ripped box, they may not.
Customers here will get no customer service, just lip service.
I will post if they ever do mail any of my money back to me but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

We are not perfect, but we do want to make all of our customers happy and have been trying to help Mr. Colson for some time now.
There are several facts that have made this more difficult than it should be: 1) Mr. Colsons wife got upset that he ordered these items, so she refused delivery when the packages arrived. He would call us about it, and then she would call us a little while later screaming about his purchase. 2) Many of the items he purchased were custom made for him and we generously offer a refund less a restocking fee (even though custom items are not returnable at all). 3) Several of the items were returned to the wrong addresses (since they did not call for the required return authorization number ahead of time). As such it took several weeks for those other facilities to find the returned items and verify it.
We explained this to both Harris and his wife, but in the meantime Ms. Colson filed a chargeback. This took the matter out of our hands, and then she would call and scream at us wondering where her refund was even while Visa was still investigating.
We understand they are upset, and frankly we are too. This should have been a simple return but it has been made extremely complicated by their arguing and refusal to let the normal process work for them. Please let us help you.
