I ordered Kevin Trudeau's book "Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About" after viewing his infomercial. In the infomercial he made claims that he would reveal natural cures to all sorts of ailments but upon cracking the book open, what I discovered is that it is one long commercial to get you to his website to buy products.
Throughout the book he claims that he can't reveal what the cures are because the government would come after him, but he gives you a website to go learn the truth about what he is reporting (as if the government couldn't go to the site). The book comes across as the ramblings of a paranoid supermarketer who seems to know everything yet has no medical training. I kept asking myself, how does he know this information?
What really caught my attention was the section on 111 tips to better living or, "How to never get sick again." That's a mighty lofty claim, especially when one of the tips is to practice Dianetics. What value I did find in Trudeau's tips were common sense. I can tell he has learned about some different religious tenets, Kabbalah being one of them, and he is indeed a well-informed huckster.
I should have returned the book when I bought it over a year ago but I stashed it away and forgot about it till I rediscovered it today. I paid too much for it and now it's being advertised that the book is being given away for free! Conclusion: Trudeau is a sly fox and has something up his sleeve. No one gives away an overrun of one million copies of a book. The book must be the gateway to Trudeauland where one can sink a small fortune into his useless products. I guess, in a way, it is sort of a cult.

Dianetics is the brain child of L. Ron Hubbard of Scientology fame. I would stear clear of that. I am surprised that Trudeau is still on the air. The FTC shut him down once and fined him. MAybe they need to get tougher. I woudl NEVER buy anything that kevin trudeau is selling.
