Ordered an ODES 800 CC utility vehicle from this company on 11/22/2011.  Order finally delivered, partially, on 2/10/2012, 81 days after being ordered and being told delivery in 3 weeks.  Originally shipped to us in parts in a crate, although we paid to have a fully assembled unit delivered.

Eventually sent to a cycle shop in a nearby town for assembly. Initially delivered with three broken parts.  Delivered to us finally with one remaining broken part.  We accepted that because we were tired of waiting for a properly finished unit.  We wanted it to tow our 1,700 pound boat & trailer to the water.   Original advertising on the company web site said 2,200 pound towing capacity, which is why we ordered this UTV.  Owners manual says max of 847 pounds, so we bought the unit based on false advertising.

Major flaws in the unit include the following problems:
Glove box falls open when driving.  Driver's side door pops open when driving on gravel road. Gear shift is horrible and will not last long, frequently refusing to work.  Transmission in high gear seems to need excessive RPMs to begin moving the vehicle.  Gear shift only works part time, even to get it in park.  Vehicle top received cracked.  three of the top lights ceased working within an hour of the first use of the vehicle on a gravel road.  Owner's manual says to check EVERY nut and bolt before every ride.  How nuts is that?  Decal began falling off, so I pulled it the rest of the way off.  It took the paint off the vehicle.

Company also failed to deliver the advertised gloves and tool kit.  Do not; I repeat DO NOT buy anything from this company and do not buy the ODES 800 UTV.  They will rip you off, big time.  They lie to you, regularly fail to return telephone calls, and ignore you and your requests.

And now for the UTV "Dominator 800" by ODES

AUTHOR: Nickn - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 03, 2012

The ODES UTV named Dominator 800 was delivered  about February 12, 2012, after being promised delivery in November 2011.  So far, the doors fly open on a gravel road and the brake line failed yesterday when the crimped on terminal slipped off the hose.  It is almost impossible to get the thing to go into gear when you want it to go, and it slams into gear when you give it gas.  The thing has gone a total of 63 miles.  I do not use it in really rough terrain.  Almost all my use is on gravel roads.  Whatever price they offer, do not buy one of these.

Additionally, their warranty is really pathetic.  If a part breaks, you have to send them the broken part before they will give you a replacement, and with their efficiency, you will be a month waiting for the replacement part.  The dealer, Killer Motorsports in Fort Worth, Texas, is unquestionably the worst ripoff company I have ever dealt with, and I am 67 years old.
