King Van Lines HORRIBLE!!! NIGHTMARE!!!...DON'T USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! Sacramento California

I searched online for a moving company and I got 3 estimates. I moved from ohio to Austin, February 2008. The sales person from King Van Lines contacted me every day until I finally gave in.

2 men showed up with no uniforms on.

I explained to the two men everything in the apt including the patio furntiure and box went. The older man seemed to understand and could speak broken English. The younger man was the one actually putting the boxes on the truck, I watched as he stacked the boxes 9 high and then watched the 2 top fall to the ground. I told him everyone of my boxes had glass in them, he didn't care, he kept stacking them and letting them fall on the ground.

They were almost finished and I told the older man, I would meet them in Austin, I left. They got to my new house and the younger man continued to drop my boxes, I finally had to get rude and tell to stop that, I asked him where the patio box was and he said he put it in the trash dumpster and I asked the older man and he thought they had brought it, they didn't.

The box contained a brand new in the box electric bbq, 2 glass tops that go to the tables that are on my patio, 2 mirrors, 1 seat cushion, 2 plants, 2 pots. If this wasn't enough. the older man who took apart my canopy bed put 3 huge gouges in it. Scratched my dresser and then the youger man asked if he could use my bathroom in the hall and after they left he had taken a bath in the sink, there was water every where and half a roll of paper towels thrown on the floor. And for broken glass, I'm still unpacking! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!
