I made a formal report about this whole thing and emailed the customer service department, and warehouse concerning the incidents. 3 separate orders of the same dish set were warped and would not sit on a flat surface without wobbling. Not just one plate. Several plates and bowls did this Obviously defective merchandise was returned, reordered 3 times. On each occasion I received more defective merchandise. Apparently, the QC department is non-existent concerning dishes manufactured in China. Oh wait, most items at Kohls are made overseas. Not us, ever again Kohls. This qualifies as the worst experience I have ever had with a department store. SAY NO TO KOHLS!!

Our third shipment has arrived. These plates are warped as well. What do I do?
Send them back and wait for a FOURTH shipment of warped plates.

I apologize for the frustrations and inconvenience you have experienced on this issue. I have sent an inquiry about SKU 95452779 on order 2417153528 and 1885217351 (original order) to our fulfillment center, so that they can investigate your concern about the damaged plates (if it was a handling, inventory, or processing issue that caused the concern). A similar inquiry has also been sent to our merchandise department so that they can check if there have been similar complaints (if it may turn out to be a manufacturer concern). Hi Jay, thank you for reading my entire email. If you had, you would have noticed that packaging is not the problem. The problem is defective merchandise.
Please read the last sentence of the letter again and you will see what needs to be done before you send us another shipment of WARPED PLATES.
Please escalate to your supervisor so we can catch the problem before it is repeated a 3rd time.

Recipt ID# 999-9598-8###-####-####-#995-3611
The original order of American Atelier Bianca Dotted Square Dinnerware SKU# 95492779 were warped, and would not sit flat on a table without wobbling. We returned the entire shipment at the Fayetteville, AR location and requested a replacement. The reason for return was clearly written on the on the packing list, and explained to the customer service person.
The replacement shipment arrived and contains wobbling plates. We are returning them to the same store. A reason for return is clearly written on the packing list. this letter should accompany the return as well.
When our 3rd shipment of these plates arrives, will they be warped?
If so, we will require the money back from the gift cards, as kohls clearly is not checking the plates before shipping.
There is no reason to continue this nonsense. If you cannot control the merchandise quality from your supplier, then what are you doing?
Please check the plates before you ship them this time.
