LA BOXING AUTO RENEWED AFTER 1 YEAR MERRILLVILLE, Indiana

Wife signed up and paid for 1 year membership. After 6 months she messed her back up and never returned. We have also have been dealing with her sister fighting cancer. We recently made the decision as a family for her to quit her job to assist taking care of her, and her kids. We are only seeing each other every 2 weeks dues to finances.

I received a collections call that we owed $308 for 4 months. I contacted the local manager and explained the situation and he was willing to wave the late fees only. The late fee on the $47 monthly fee was $30. I explained that my wife was under the impression that since she paid the year in full the contract was fulfilled. He did not care, nor did he care about the financial situation we were in.

I could understand 1 maybe 2 months having to pay due to the misunderstanding but to keep that bill going after 4 months is just plain greed. Then the late fees...wow.
