Lakeside Collection ripoff Why order from a company that won't answer their phone? Northbrook Illinois

Mine is simple - I made a mistake and ordered from their website.
I just don't want others to make the same mistake (their phone was always busy back in Sept 2006 and still remains busy).
You never really know if the items are in-stock and forget about contacting customer service.
Their email form says allow 7 days for a response.
I have tried to call numerous times throughout the day and it's always busy.
We ordered a Christmas present and received the wrong item, we returned and for over a month - their site says ready to ship the correct item.
PLEASE DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM LAKESIDE COLLECTION (it's not worth the hassle).

I used to work for this company and i have to say it was one of the worst jobs I have ever had. Please don't blame the employees as they are only doing what they're told and trying to make the most out of a low paying, stressful, environment and job.
The company tells customer service reps to lie about certain date times, and when they are going to receive merchandise. As far as not getting your money back, it policy that they will and they do. However you do have to get a hold of them in order to do so.
