Lease Finance Group claims they bought a contract from American Paywize corperation with my signiture for a four year lease contract for a credit card machine. It is not my signiture on the contract. They are rude and call me stupid and a liar and threaten my credit or to send me to a collection agency.
I returned the machine certified mail with a letter claiming that was not my signiture and a money order for the outstanding balance. They claim they need a copy of my drivers license, my ss# and a check from my finacial institution. Sounds fishy to me.
I am filing a complaint with the state attorney Ms. Madigan for Ill. This company wants to tie you into a contract for a 500 -1000 dollar machine for 3- 4000 thousand dollars and then you still dont own it!! They fax you contracts hoping you will sign something you cant read and if you dont they will sign it for you. Watch Out!!

I did send a certified letter to the attorney general Lisa Madigan and send certified copies to the Lease Finance Group. I believe the letter to Lisa Madigan is what helped me here and they agreed to cancel the lease agreement and waive all charges. They sent me a letter releasing me from all obligations to the lease I never signed to begin with which I can use with credit reporting agencies if it ever comes up. ANd with this company you had better keep this in a safe plave. THe lady manager I spoke with claims they no nothing of the harrassing rude or questionable business practices of the reps or any leases being forged or misrepresented. SHe assured me they will investigate these allegations.

You made a very wise decision by not giving your Driver License, SS#, and Bank Acct. First this company is very #@&%**. If you know what I mean. Second with identity theft, plus you don't know who you talking to. Way to go and keep slamming CIT. Lease Finance..Gloria

after reading more then 50 complaints on this website in regards to this company I have also filed a complaint with the FTC as so many of you suggested and the attorney general of Illinois. Lisa Maddigan. I will continue to contact all resources available to me and suggest we all do the same. I have suggested every time they check out the complaints posted on this web site. Worse case I will have our attorney look into it. He has to be cheaper then 2,000 and it goes up every time they call!!!!!!!
