I tried Lending Tree to look for lenders when buying a house. They will spam you with phone calls from lenders.

More important, they gave Experian my credit card number without my knowledge and charged me $12 a month for "credit monitoring". There's no indication they're charging you, and you have to call to cancel. Everyone should dispute these charges with his credit card company.
