I responded to an online survey which promised a free gift worth at least $150 at the end of the survey. I chose the Leo Duvati sunglasses which said they were valued at $89.99. I was told my credit/debit card would be charged $5.99 to cover shipping costs but that would be the only cost to me. I received the sunglasses about 3 days later and checked my account to make sure I was not charged anything extra. My account was charged $5.99 on July 15, 2015. The sunglasses are cheap plastic, the kind you can purchase at a convenience store or discount department store for less than $10. They are not worth $89.99 but since they were free I was satisfied. They came in a nice storage case with lens cleaner and a lens polishing cloth.

Today, Aug. 4, 2015, I reviewed my account again and found that Leo Shades had charged my card $95.00 on Aug. 3, 2015 for the sunglasses. I was told they were a free gift so I was surprised to see this charge. I contacted my debit card company and they are investigating the charge. I will also contact my state Attorney's General office and the Federal Trade Commission to report them.
